#Stationeers game solid fule genorator generator#So I decided to move the fuel tank into the generator room (next to the generator) and thus reduce the fuel pipe's length. After a while, I noticed the gas generator wouldn't produce more than 6.4Kw, no mater how much I increased input fuel pressure. I originally had the fuel tank sitting outside in the cold. However, I've since discovered something I can't seem to find an answer to. Just need to add a few more, so I can increase the fuel pressure being added to the generator without it quickly overheating, and thus produce more power reliably. Have now tested my new setup, using PR's to input air to the room, and BPR's to extract it. Getting a gas generator to produce 20kw seems nigh impossible to do for more than a few seconds before it overheats and shuts off.Ĭan anyone share their setup that keeps the heat from getting out-of-control? I've had most success with option 2 (above) in a fairly large room (5x5)Īlso, why can I not see water anymore? Have the water effects been removed? My tablet shows water, but I can't physically see it. In comparison, a solid generator produces around 20kw and needs no fancy heating or cooling systems, or an atmosphere, or a lot of micromanaging, in order to operate. No matter what I do, the heat always wins eventually - even when the pressure regulator controlling fuel input is set to just 1kPa! Loading the room with loads of wall coolers. Then separating the outside and inside pipes using a volume pump.ģ. Making a huge passive cooling system, with a ton of radiators on both the pipes inside and outside of the room. Submerging the generator in water, in a trench, and used an active vent to pull the water through cooling pipes to outside, and loop back in, which didn't work well at all. Anyone have any luck with keeping a gas fuel generator cool? I'm on Europa and I still can't manage to keep the heat down.
